I am an honest, down to earth passionate woman with tons of empathy and compassion.I am told by my friends that I am a very good listener. I love to laugh and really enjoy myself in life. I read alot. I love to write and sing. I love old antique and book stores and yes, I have a weakness for occasional Saturday morning "Yard Saling." I like an occasional happy hour. I love being outdoors and having picnics and barbecues. I have two children. They come first in my life, but that does not mean there is not enough love in my heart to share with someone else. It is really important to me to really get to know someone. I figure if we can't be friends first, than anything else is not truly genuine and lasting. I've not had very good luck with men in the last few years. That's me being honest. My female friends are my treasures. I value honesty above almost anything else. I want affection I want understanding (I give it freely)and I want to be able to really connect with someone and to be able to just be myself. I don't want anyone to think they have to change themselves for me and vice-versa. That takes way to much energy and really, what's the point?
I'm happy emailing first, talking on the phone, meeting for a drink, lunch or dinner. The "where" isn't so important to me. Getting to know you is.
